Girl Scouts (grades 6 - 12) are invited to participate as

SERVERS for the annual Women's History Day and Tea

at the River Raisin National Battlefield Museum, 1403 E. Elm Ave., Monroe

on SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2014

Girls volunteering as SERVERS are requested to be in FULL GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM consisting of khaki pants, white blouse and Girl Scout vest or sash.

Adult volunteers needed to provide assistance to Girl Scout SERVERS.

Request adults to be in appropriate GIRL SCOUT attire.

Duties will include serving guests of the Women's History Day Tea.

The tea pots are porcelain and tea served are brewed with tea leaves grown in the Gardens surrounding the Museum.

There are 2 sessions available -- choose one session or both.

Early session - 12:15 - 2:15: Arrive early to assist Museum volunteers with set up and preparation. Program begins at 1 pm where responsibilities include SERVING tea.

Late session - 1:45 - 3:45: Allows 1/2 hour to observe and work with early session Girl Scouts and continue until event ends at 3 pm. Assist with Museum volunteers with clean up.
